Increase Monthly Views On Pinterest Using This Strategy

Increase Monthly Views On Pinterest Using This Strategy

Are you interested in increasing your monthly views on Pinterest?

You’ve come to the right place! I’m going to share with you a simple Pinterest marketing strategy that will help you gain more monthly views on Pinterest.

This strategy will help you build a habit of using Pinterest more and organically get you more monthly views. Am I promising a million views in short period of time. HECK NO!

What I am promising is a strategy that is easy to follow, customizable, and will help you see an increase of monthly views on Pinterest over time.

Before we get into the strategy I want you to think about a few things:

  1. Have you claimed your website on Pinterest? If the answer is no, then I suggest you take the steps to get your website claimed. This ensures you get the attribution you deserve for your content. After all we aren’t doing this for nothing.

  2. Have you created at least 5 keyworded board with board descriptions? If the answer is no, I suggest you do this first before any pinning can happen. You are going to need boards and those boards need to keyworded accordingly.

  3. Have you installed the Pinterest tag to your site? Even if you plan to use an organic Pinterest strategy, installing the Pinterest tag helps the platform learn your content so when you are ready to run Pinterest ads the platform has learned how your audience behaves. Take it a step further and install all your event codes, like sign up, checkout, add to care or page visit as this allows you to measure each action happening on your website. Install event codes you want to measure, not all apply to each website. And even with no ads running Pinterest will still show you these KPI’s using the Conversion Insights tool. Pretty cool if you ask me,

Why Monthly Views Matter On Pinterest?

Monthly views matter as a metric to measure on Pinterest because it’s a good indicator as to how many users are actually seeing your content? It can give you a good idea as to how Pinterest is distributing your content. Is it the only thing to worry about when measuring for success? No, it should be however a part of your KPI’s.

Why Are My Monthly Views So Low On Pinterest?

Lots of factors could impact your monthly views on Pinterest. To start if you are a new business the aglorithim could still be learning your content. Perhaps, you aren’t very consistent with pinning on Pinterest yet, which is why you’re reading this post.

Steps To Using A Monthly Pinterest Strategy Today

  1. Create multiple pin graphics per piece of content. Your content may not be only a blog post, it could be your newest YouTube video, a new podcast episode. I want you to create between 2-4 pin graphics with different keyword headlines and different elements. The Pinterest algorithm will be very happy with this and will distribute this fresh content out into the ecosystem of Pinterest. Use my templates or purchase one of my pin graphic design services here to help you get this done faster.

  2. Once you’ve created a healthy amount of pins for your content for the month, start scheduling out your content on Pinterest. I find using a Pinterest Content Tracker is the best way to stay organized. You can purchase one I made and that I use for my own clients here. Make sure to give a few days between each pin you schedule and make sure it’s going to relevant boards on your profile. I suggest to interval pins to different boards every 3-7 days.

  3. Schedule out 2-3 pins daily to start and after 30 days add more. Soon you will see you have a month worth of Pinterest pins in no time.

  4. Create 1 weekly idea pin to start. Idea pins should be a part of your Pinterest marketing strategy…period. Idea pins can be static or video or combo of both elements. Idea pins help boost engagement on Pinterest and now you can add your website link to take the user off the platform. You should be creating 4 idea pins per month.

  5. Finally, check your analytics each month and analyze how pins are performing every 30 days and optimize your strategy every 60-90 days. Using an organic Pinterest strategy takes time, think of it as a marathon not a race. If you need to drive results faster then combine Pinterest ads after 30 days of using this strategy as ads are going to be the best option if this is what you’re after.

Utilizing a consistent Pinterest marketing strategy is crucial to drive results to your website. This basic organic Pinterest strategy can help you build the foundation you need to thrive on Pinterest for months to come.
