Why Market Your Blog Content On Pinterest?

Pinterest is still one of the best resources to build up a presence and reach your target audience. Pinterest works like a search engine so pinners use Pinterest for inspiration and resources. It’s the perfect platform for bloggers to be in front of an interested audience.

Getting started with Pinterest marketing for your blog is easy and I have a 9 step-guide to show you how to set up your own Pinterest business profile.

How To Upload Pin Images To Pinterest

To manually upload pin images for your blog content is simple. Go to your Pinterest profile and select the plus sign and select pin.

You’ll be taken to this screen.

Then this screen.

Upload your pin image. Be sure it’s an optimal size for Pinterest. Pin image size should be at least 1000 x 15000 pixels for best performance.

  • Add a keyword pin title.

  • Add a keyword rich pin description.

  • Add the correct URL

Publish immediately to your board or schedule this pin for another date.

You can also publish manual pins by clicking at the top of the page and selecting create then create pin and follow the same process as above.

Another way to manually pin to Pinterest for your blog content is by installing the Pinterest save button extension to your chrome browser.

Here is the link: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/pinterest-save-button/gpdjojdkbbmdfjfahjcgigfpmkopogic?hl=en

This is a quick way to pin directly from your blog post. Simply click on the pin save button from your browser and select the pin image you’d like to use.

The downfall of this is you won’t be able to add a pin description.

This save feature will use your alt text or meta tags as a description and use your blog title as a pin title.

You also won’t be able to schedule out pins.

A great benefit of adding this feature to your website is you create a great user experience for your Pinterest audience. Pinners will be able to directly save your pins from your blog content instantly.

If you are ready to create your Pinterest Business profile for your blog then download my free guide to get you started. You will feel more confident following the process I show you in this guide and be on track with Pinterest Marketing for your blog post.
